Everyday activities include but are not limited to: walks, fetch, playtime, medications, meal time, and at least one texted update with pictures when possible. If they are good at dog parks, public hikes, or just like going for car rides...I am always game for that too. For caged animals, I will happily clean their cages if they are not aggressive & use fish tank suction tools but never do a full-on tank cleaning.
I work entirely for myself so my hours are flexible, just let me know how long they can wait for potty breaks if less than 4 hours. I spend 7am-10am & at least 4pm (usually much earlier) until bedtime (10ish) with your pet(s). If they are not allowed on the bed, make sure to tell me as I do love to snuggle. Their happiness is my main concern.
I prefer to sleep in a guest space if available, but the master is ok if not. I will wash bedding, linens, and towels used on my last day. I like to remake the bed & put things away but can leave folded piles if you prefer, just let me know. I will also clean up the kitchen, wipe down the fridge, take out trash/recycling, bring in mail/packages, water plants, and clean any messes the pet(s) make immediately. If there is a method for yard poop-scoopin', I will take care of that as well, unless the weather is particularly rainy/snowy.
Protocol for my arrival is no more than one hour after you have left. For my departure, I try to leave no more than one hour before your scheduled arrival. The idea is for a nice seamless transition for your pet(s) to better mitigate their stress levels. We can discuss how I will get in/out as far as keys, codes, etc. when I come for an initial meet & greet.
Payment is due day one either by check or cash in the home, ideally near any notes you may have for me. Tips never expected but always appreciated.
Requirements: no aggressive (to people) dogs, all food/treats on site for the duration, emergency vet information written down, instructions for medications available, WiFi info written down, plenty of cleaning supplies/location of vacuum, any dietary restrictions mentioned, & departure/arrival times clearly communicated.
